Skye Cricket Club seeking Senior Club Coach for 2019/20 Season
The Skye Cricket Club are looking for a playing or non-playing senior club coach to lead the club to its next successful era. The successful candidate will have strong player development skills, great passion, an attitude of inclusion for all members, a genuine desire to build a positive team spirit and the drive to succeed.
Skye CC are expecting to have 3 Senior Men’s teams, 1 Senior Women’s teams and at least 2 junior teams next season.
It is important that the senior club coach is involved across the whole club, either with direct involvement or oversight and mentoring of the specific team leaders and coaching team.
Skye CC are open to engaging either:
- A specialist senior coach with strong coaching credentials or innovative forward thinking ideas and enthusiasm for the player development and team performance improvement; or
- A 1st XI talented cricketer with strong leadership skills and a passion for sharing knowledge and improving skills through training and on-field leadership.
The club is relatively small and is focussed on establishing a welcoming local community club, which is inclusive in nature and encourages all members to interact in a safe and open environment, ensuring the Kookaburra Club Spirit is nurtured and grown. Club branding and reputation is as critical as the on field performance. The club is not a rich club, but Skye CC will offer remuneration to the successful candidate based on the suitability of the individual and their proposed vision and tenure offering against the club objectives.
