COVID ANNOUNCEMENT

To all member clubs,

The MPCA and the Pines Cricket Club wish to inform the clubs of a Positive Covid Case that attended the Pines Cricket Club on Thursday evening.

As a result all players and supporters who attended training and dinner in the rooms have been asked to have a DHHS covid test and isolate till a negative result is received.

Regretfully, the consequence of this is that all Pines teams will not be able to participate in any MPCA games across all grades on Saturday 11th December.

The MPCA Senior Pennant have determined that the following results will take place in regards to scheduled games;

Peninsula 1sts – Flinders vs Pines. This game will be rescheduled at a time that both sides agree to. If not played by Sunday 27th February 2022, the game will be deemed a draw.

Peninsula 2nds – Pines vs Flinders – This game will not be replayed and points will be shared.

A2 – Pines vs Red Hill – This game will not be replayed and points will be shared.

B4 – Seaford vs Pines – This game will not be replayed and points will be shared.

C1 – Pines vs Mt Eliza – This game will not be replayed and points will be shared.

U12 Central – Carrum Navy vs Pines. This game will be rescheduled at a time that both sides agree to. If not played by Sunday 13th February 2022, the game will be deemed a draw.

Pines Women are due to play Rye at Rye on Sunday and depending on the return of Covid Tests, may need to be postponed as well. Further details will be provided as we receive them.

The MPCA take this opportunity to remind clubs of the importance of following Covid Safe protocols at all times.

  • QR Check In
  • Sanitising
  • Social Distancing

The Pines CC wish to apologise to all Clubs for the inconvenience that this has caused but it is part of the flexibility that is required for us to all work together to get the MPCA season completed.
